EXPLORERTM 700
The EXPLORERTM 700 by Thrane & Thrane is
a full class I BGAN terminal. It is rapidly becoming a favorite of government and media users needing
256 kbps streaming for VPN and video applications. It is very well thought out. For example, it has
seperate RJ-11 ports for 4 kbps voice and 3.1 kHz audio (modem and G3 fax applications). It has
two ISDN RJ-45 ports and two Ethernet RJ-45 ports. It even has a special DC output port for specialized
peripherals.
ACTIVE ANTENNA: The antenna is remotable to 70-meters from the transceiver (indoor unit),
and it is IP66 rated against dust and water ingress. This makes the EXPLORERTM 700
the best BGAN terminal for extended or permanent externally mounted antenna applications.
