Thuraya XT

The Thuraya XT satellite phone is designed with a tough polycarbonate case to enhance splash, dust, and shock resistance. It is a satellite-only-mode phone with up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 80 hours of standby time. A low-glare high-contrast color display is allows easy readability even in direct sunlight. Other functions include GPS capability with waypoint navigation, a calendar feature, and a world clock with alarm functions.

The Thuraya network provides coverage in over 140 countries, including nearly all of Europe, Northern and Central Africa, much of Asia, Southeastern Asia, Australia, and Japan.

GmPRS ALWAYS ON INTERNET: The ThurayaXT supports GmPRS "always on" internet as an optional service. GmPRS data speeds reach up to 15 kbps upload and 60 kbps download on a best effort basis. Our basic monthly GmPRS bundle includes 5120 Kbytes usage. Call for more details. Customers needing higher data rates should consider our Inmarsat BGAN products.
