Iridium Push-to-Talk (PTT) is intended for group-wide broadcast communications. The plans shown below can be used anywhere on earth except the Middle Eastern region. Special plans are available for Iridium PTT that is used partially or completely in the Middle East. We have shown pricing for only the Small Talk Group and Medium Talk Group, but larger talk groups are available based on your application.
Iridium PTT is designed for simultaneous broadcast voice communication amongst a group of users, but sometimes the ability to make a private phone call to a fixed or cellular number is needed. The Iridium Extreme PTT handset can support telephony-mode calls. That is to say, it can make a private call or text to a public switched telephone number or receive a call or text on its own dedicated Iridium mobile number using a SIM card activated on the Companion Voice Services below. Companion Voice Services are optional. Some Iridium PTT equipment like the ICOM IC-SAT100 do not support telephony.
