Service Plans: The rental rates shown on this page are for the phone hardware but do not include a service plan, which must be activated separately. Our plans offer unlimited push-to-talk communications beyond the coverage of conventional land based radios. An Iridium Push-to-Talk phone broadcasts to all the Iridium Push-to-Talk phones within the same talk group.
All service plans include one Small Talk Group. Most users will find this completely sufficient because a Small Talk Group is roughly the size of the state of Indiana and can be divided into as many as 5 non-contiguous regions located anywhere in the world except the Middle East. If more or larger talk groups are needed, these are available for additional fees. The borders of your talk group can be adjusted on-the-fly via a secure web portal.
