We have a limited stock of ultralight 26-Watt Solar Panels by Brunton. These panels have been previously used by our satellite phone rental customers and are certified operational with a 6-month warranty. The used kits have the same items as the new kits. Metal eye holes at each corner of the solar panel allow it to be lashed to your tent. When you are ready to travel, the lightweight 1.7 lb solar panel can be folded up to a compact 8.5" x 11" x 1" size for transport.
Laptop Battery Pack: When combined with a large 72-WHr laptop battery pack, this kit becomes a power but very portable energy collection and storage system. Recharge laptops, smartphones, tablets, satellite phones, Inmarsat BGAN terminals, and even car batteries. We recommend using the solar panel to recharge the laptop battery pack rather than directly charging your electronics from the solar panel. Doing this protects your expensive electronic equipment from power brownouts in the solar panel's output caused when clouds pass over or the sun sets. A fuel gauge lets you check the laptop battery pack's current charge level. The kit includes:
