With an IP57 waterproof and dustproof rating, the radio can survive accidental immersion in water up to one metre deep for 30 minutes, giving you confidence when operating in rain, spray or rough seas.

If the radio is accidentally dropped overboard, ICOM's exclusive Float'n Flash™ feature automatically causes it to float while activating a flashing LED and illuminated display, making it much easier to locate and recover in low-light conditions.

To maintain clear audio after exposure to water, AquaQuake™ technology vibrates the speaker to remove trapped water, helping restore sound quality quickly without manual intervention.

The M37 features a powerful 700mW audio output, ensuring incoming calls remain clear and intelligible, even against engine noise, wind and challenging weather conditions. Voice Loud and Mute functions allow you to instantly maximise or reduce volume whenever required, making communication effortless whether you're underway or alongside the dock.

Designed for Long Days on the Water

Supplied with ICOM's high-capacity lithium-ion battery pack, the M37 provides up to 12 hours of operating time under typical marine use, allowing you to spend an entire day on the water without worrying about recharging.

For added flexibility during emergencies or extended trips, an optional alkaline battery case is also available, making the M37 an excellent addition to emergency grab bags and safety equipment.
