Iridium Web & Mail and Android 14 Update

Iridium Web & Mail is no longer compatible with Android 14 and above due to recent OS changes. Iridium is reviewing options to update the app and is also exploring alternative solutions in the meantime.

SIM Cards and Plans

Iridium SIM cards are provided free of charge with delivery to any US address and can be activated when you are ready. Monthly Iridium GO! plans include options with unlimited SMS or unlimited Iridium Direct Internet Data. For prepaid plans, reminder emails are sent before expiry. Urgent prepaid voucher orders can be processed 24/7 by technical support.

Revised SIM Reactivation Process

Iridium has introduced a new SIM reactivation process to reduce waste and speed up activations. SIMs can now be reactivated at a significantly lower cost than before.

• 12 Months minimum term can be reduced to 3 Months when you pay a $50 activation fee.
• $15.00 SIM card release charge only applies to Iridium SIM card reactivations for Iridium Handsets and the Iridium GO!.
• The Iridium SIM card must have been previously deactivated by Outfitter Satellite.

Terms & Conditions

• Taxes, USF charges, and other regulatory fees are not included in the listed rates. The customer is responsible for any applicable taxes or fees, which may vary.  A full breakdown of any such charges will be provided before your purchase is completed.

• Calls:  Voice Calls include mobile-originated voice calls to cellular, and PSTN.  PSTN refers to public-switched-telephone-network numbers.

• General Information: The customer agrees to pay for all calls made or received.  All calls are measured and charged in one (1) minute increments. GO! Internet Calls refer only to calls to the Iridium Direct Internet server made from an Iridium GO! device to an approved Iridium GO! Internet access number.  Standard Data Calls are always billed as out-of-bundle calls at $1.19 per minute and include data calls to PSTN, data calls to Iridium, calls to the Iridium Direct Internet server not made from an Iridium GO! device, Iridium fax calls to a PSTN number, Iridium-to-RUDICS calls, and RUDICS-to-Iridium calls.  SMS Messages: GO! SMS refers to SMS messages sent from an Iridium GO! device.  Inbound SMS messages are free.  Outbound SMS messages can be up to 160 characters. Long SMS messages up to 1000 characters are billed as a series of separate SMS messages of 160-character length (or less). Undeliverable SMS messages from errors unrelated to the Iridium network such as problems with mail filters, mailbox overflows, or incorrect addresses remain billable. SMS messages sent on this plan from a non-Iridium GO! device are not considered GO! SMS messages and will be billed at a higher rate of $0.55 each.  Calls to Inmarsat, Thuraya & other Mobile Satellite Networks (MSS) is billed at the “All other call types” rate.   Inbound Calls:  2-Stage Dialing calls are made by dialing 480-768-2500 (U.S. number) and entering the 12-digit Iridium mobile number.  +1 Access calls received through an optional U.S. phone number assigned to the Iridium device. It is important to understand that 2-Stage Dialing or +1 Access calls that are forwarded to Iridium voicemail or another third party number will be billed to your Iridium account. Inbound calls direct dialed to the Iridium 12-digit mobile number are paid by the calling party through their own carrier, and no charge applies to the Iridium phone’s account for receiving the direct dialed call.
