Outfitter Satellite has a limited supply of Certified Used Iridium Extreme PTT phones. Each phone comes with the standard kit of components and a 12-month warranty. The prices on this page are available until the existing inventory of used equipment is exhausted. A service contract is required for purchase.
The Iridium Extreme PTT satellite phone offers two modes: telephony and push-to-talk. The kit includes a Padded Soft Case for the Iridium Extreme PTT and its standard kit components. The case includes a carry strap, backpack straps for connecting it to technical backpacks and a weather flap over the zipper to prevent rain and dust intrusion.
The smallest Talk Group area that Iridium offers has a generous coverage area about the size of the state of Indiana. Much larger talk group areas are available. A single talk group can cover a single large area or multiple widely separated non-contiguous areas. For example, a single talk group could cover an area in Tennessee, an area in Texas, and an area in Australia. Complex Talk Group borders can be configured easily and on the fly using the Iridium PTT Command Center web portal. The system is easy to use and easy to administrate.
