The STX3 is a simplex satellite transmitter built to deliver compact, user-defined data packets via the Globalstar Simplex Satellite Network. Transfer data automatically using customizable time intervals or by triggering specific events. Once transmitted, the data is relayed to a user-specified network interface, such as an FTP server, email account, or HTTP endpoint, for further processing.
The STX3 module is a surface-mount design intended for integration onto a custom host PCB. The host PCB must supply power, an RF connection for the transmit antenna, and an interface to a host processor that manages the STX3’s operation. Electrical connectivity is established through castellated pads around the module’s edges.
