Iridium Certus terminals provide 3 voice lines and Standard IP internet access speeds up to 352 kbps up / 704 kbps down. Terminals are available for both land vehicles and maritime applications. Certus provides global coverage even in mountainous areas while the vehicle is in motion. Iridium Certus has much lower data packet latency than Inmarsat BGAN or FleetBroadband making it suitable, among other things, for remote control applications that require quick responses.

If a hardline phone is desired, the MissionLINK has an RJ14 port that supports two POTS phones (not included). Another hardline option is the Thales SureLINK IP Phone phone with noise cancellation technology and a distress button for initiating emergency calls or sending GPS locations. Up to three (3) Thales SureLINK IP Handsets can be connected via ethernet to the MissionLINK.
