There are no usage charges ever! Text messages and location sharing can be done from a user-supplied smartphone that is paired with the ACR Bivy Stick. Text messages can be sent to any mobile phone number or email address worldwide. The ACR Bivy Stick has a US mobile number so your friends can easily send it text messages from their cell phones. In an emergency, you can send an SOS to Global Rescue directly from a button on the Bivy Stick without the use of a smartphone. Like all Iridium devices, an ACR Bivy Stick can work virtually anywhere. All you need is a clear view of the sky. The ACR Bivy Stick is compatible with Bluetooth-capable iPhone and Android smartphones.

What is GroupTrack™?

This feature only applies if multiple ACR Bivy Stick devices are being rented. GroupTrack allows group messaging simultaneously amongst all members of the group.
