A built-in 10W audio amplifier drives an optional external PA speaker, enabling the radio to function as both a public address system and electronic foghorn. This added functionality makes the M424G particularly valuable for larger vessels and commercial applications.

Built for Life on the Water

Engineered specifically for marine use, the M424G carries an IPX7 waterproof rating, allowing it to withstand accidental immersion in up to one metre of water for 30 minutes. ICOM's AquaQuake™ speaker draining technology helps remove water from the speaker after exposure to heavy spray or rain, restoring clear audio quickly.
