The SHOUT ts is a handheld satellite tracker and messaging device featuring a color touchscreen for quick navigation and easy text entry via on-screen keyboards.
Built for efficiency, it consumes less than 35µA in sleep mode. Its internal 1.95 A-Hr rechargeable Li-Ion battery enables hourly position reporting for up to two months (around 1,500 transmissions). The device can also be programmed to wake automatically at set intervals and send updates to a monitoring center.
In emergencies, a protected 911 button delivers immediate alert notifications. Messages can be transmitted in standard format, secured with 256-bit AES encryption, or in 10-byte, 30-byte, or PECOS encrypted packet formats.
